EDGEHOG HOT SNARE
EdgeHog™ is our most responsive hot snare with a flat monofilament wire which was designed to cut through tissue with precision and ease. It also features an ultra-stiff wire with a rounded silhouette and is rotatable, ideal for advanced EMR procedures.
REDUCED SLIPPAGE
The stiff monofilament wire indents into tissue and the flat wire sits perpendicular to the cutting plane which allows for maximum grip and hold on tissue. The proximal ”V-shaped” design of the wire provides stability so the snare remains flat and can engage tissue. The result is less slippage as it closes on tissue.
FLAT MONOFILAMENT WIRE
The monofilament wire conducts energy efficiently. This helps the snare resect tissue efficiently, providing a clean margin with a razor-thin cautery effect which may reduce thermal damage of healthy tissue.
